The PHYMOT annual meeting 2022 is held at Mallorca. The meeting consists of two parts, a general part (Aug. 29 & Aug. 30) to which all participants are invited. This part of the meeting will take place at:
hotel Palma Bellver: Av. de Gabriel Roca, 11, 07014 Palma
The hotel can be reached by bus A1 to Central Station in Palma (Estación Intermodal Palma), then switch for either bus line 1 or N1 to stop 31 – passeig Marítim – Monsenyor Palmer

Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 15.00, after lunch, the first part of the meeting will end.
Breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch, and dinner are served at the hotel and included in the price as well as the drinks that come with lunch and dinner. Extra drinks are at your own expense. Since arrivals on Sunday night will be very heterogeneous in time we ask you to arrange your dinner yourself that night.
The conference lunch will (to be confirmed) take place at:

The second part of the meeting (Aug. 31-Sept. 2), for students and lecturers, will take place at Esporles. For that, we will move Wednesday morning by bus from Palma to Esporles. In Esporles we will stay at:
s’Hostal D’Esporles, Pl. d’Espanya, 8, 07190 Esporles
ESRs will share double rooms and are encouraged to arrange room sharing by themselves.
The lectures and hands-on courses will take place at:
IMEDEA – C/ Miquel Marquès, 21 – 07190 Esporles
In Esporles, coffee breaks will be served at the institute, for lunch we will go to town together. Dinner on Wednesday and Thursday will take place at the Hostal. On Friday afternoon there will be a group hike/trip to the seaside with a dinner together.
Scope
The PHYMOT annual meeting serves several purposes.
- Reporting of scientific progress of PHYMOT students through 20-minute talks of students.
- Scientific talks of PHYMOT partners.
- Scientific discussion
- Administrative meetings of all PHYMOT management committees to discuss progress and schedule activities.
- A general meeting of all PHYMOT members, including all ESRs to discuss reporting requirements from the EU side.
- Scientific and Soft skill courses for ESRs.

On Wednesday 31 the ESRs will move to Esporles by bus around 08.00 in the morning. After arrival at the institute, the courses start. For your information, the communication course on Friday will be online. During the courses, coffee breaks and lunch will take place at the institute. Dinner will be served at the hostel. Friday afternoon, we will have a group excursion and have dinner all together.
